Safeguarding Jewish Heritage Across Poland

We are dedicated to uniting descendants and supporters to preserve and commemorate Poland's remaining Jewish cemeteries and cultural heritage sites.

Preserving Memory. Protecting Legacy.

More than one thousand Jewish cemeteries across Poland bear silent witness to centuries of vibrant life. — and devastating loss. Many are overgrown, neglected, or nearly forgotten. At Friends of Jewish Heritage in Poland (FJHP), we are working to change that.

We partner with descendants, communities, and organizations to restore, protect, and honor Jewish cemeteries and heritage sites across the country — reconnecting families with history, memory with place, and compassion with action.

Siedlicze Jewish Cemetery Memorial

Every Jewish cemetery in Poland is more than just a resting place — it is a bridge to the past and a promise to remember.

Whom we support

A major beneficiary of our work is the Poland-based "Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland", also known as FODŻ, the single-biggest owner of Jewish cemeteries and synagogues in Poland and, perhaps, the world. We also provide support to many other non-profit associations taking care of their local cemeteries across Poland.
