Help us mark the Klimontów Jewish Cemetery

FJHP is initiating a new project in cooperation with FODŻ and led by an Israeli descendant of the Jewish community of Klimontów, Poland. We are working towards the installation of a monument and an informational signboard at the site of the town’s Jewish cemetery, in which over 4,000 burials took place. While the cemetery was mostly destroyed, the town’s historical synagogue still stands nearby.

FODŻ has received permission from the municipality for these plans and we now need your help to honor the memory of Klimontów’s Jewish community. Qualifying donations from Klimontów descendants will have an ancestor’s family name memorialized on the plaque.
