Protecting the Sierpc Jewish cemetery

FJHP is grateful to be working with Andrea Schneider, descendant of the Sierpc Jewish community in raising funds to support work at the Jewish cemetery there. This cemetery is owned by our partner FODŻ—the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland. The cemetery is in poor condition, overgrown with dense vegetation, and surrounded by a damaged fence dating from approximately 1990. Together, we plan to undertake a major set of initiatives, beginning with a complete major initial clean-up and clearing of brush.
